Rethink the current landing pages/templates for vehicle listing and detail pages. Users complained that they were difficult to use on mobile, and hard to navigate on both desktops and phones. Dealers (our clients) mostly wanted to display larger photos, clearer call to actions, and more visible unit specs.
Brainstorming and narrowing down ideas ensured that we focused on the most essential features that would solve our problems.
Doing this solidified that by the end of the development stage, we would we reach our minimum viable product.
I worked collaboratively with the back-end development team as the UI/UX Lead. I worked with the Client Services and Account Management teams to gather user data and feedback. After the prototype was tested and approved, I wrote the HTML & CSS to hand off to Development for database integration and launch.
95% of current clients (450+) opted to upgrade and were converted to the new templates. Each of them were willing to upgrade at cost which aided in onboarding to a new platform, covering company conversion expense. This became the new template system for all new clients.
